Our Schools Terms & Conditions

Upon enrolling with our school all pupils will be given an appointment card and bound by the following terms and conditions.

It remains the pupil’s responsibility to ensure that the card is brought to every lesson and that the instructor keeps the card signed and up to date.

1, All pupils must be in possession of a current British Full or Provisional driving licence or a valid international driving permit.

2, The driving instructor takes no responsibility for any loss, damage or theft of pupils’ property

3, The instructor retains the right to cancel any enrolment and repay any money paid in advance within 30 days of cancellation.

4, The instructor retains the right to cancel or transfer any booked lessons at short notice. This is usually due to ill health, a short notice driving test or unable to reach the pupil in time due to traffic.

5, The instructor will wait 10 minutes for a pupil to arrive late for a lesson. After which time the lesson will be cancelled and the full fee for the lesson forfeited.

6, All lessons must be paid for in advance.

7, A notice of 48 hours is required via phone call or text if a pre-booked lesson is to be cancelled or rescheduled by the pupil. Failing this the fee paid in advance for the lesson will be forfeited.

8, Any application for a refund of money paid in advance for lessons will need to be made within 30 days from the date of the last lesson. Claims for payments made in advance will only be considered if logged and signed it the appointment card by the instructor.

9, Any application for a refund of money paid in advance for an intensive course or block booking will need to be made within 14 days prior to the start date of the course.

10, For any reason any number of lessons from an intensive course or a block booking is not taken and a refund is required, then the remainder of the lessons may be refunded but the lessons taken will be charged at the normal price and not the discounted price.

11, The instructor retains the right to withhold the use of the school car for a driving test, if the instructor feels that the pupil has not reached the required standard.

12, The school retains the right to change any discounted offer without prior notice.

13, In the unfortunate event that the driving school or driving instructor’s car becomes unavailable for any reason for a pre-booked driving test the school and instructor will endeavour to obtain another car to ensure the pupil can take the test. If a car is not available and the pupil is unable to take the test the school will pay for another test, one driving lesson and the cost of the use of the car. No cash alternative will be paid even if the pupil decides to use another driving school or another driving instructor not with Streetwise.
