Pass Plus is a driver training course for newly qualified drivers usually taken within two years of passing the driving test. The course is designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DVSA), in conjunction with insurance companies and Driving Instructors. The course was introduced to try to address the high accident risk of new drivers. The course is designed to give newly qualified drivers extra skill or experience in situations that they may not have covered in depth whilst preparing for their driving test, in the case of motorway driving not covered at all. Pass Plus does not involve a test. It is a course consisting of 6 modules covered over 6 hours. You are taught and then assessed by your driving instructor and then marked as either ‘achieved the standard’ or ‘exceeded the standard’.

If necessary extra training will be required in order to reach the required level.

The Pass Plus course can be structured as 1½, 2, 2½, or 3 Hour driver training sessions. We can even organise a full day of training and complete the whole Pass Plus course in one day. Pass Plus Syllabus
